STS-133 Returns Safely

Space Shuttle Discovery has made a safe return to earth on March 9th, 2011 at 11:57a.m. EST. STS-133 mission lasted 12 days, 19 hours, 3 minutes, and 53 seconds. During that time they traveled more than 5.3 million miles! During space shuttle Discovery’s final spaceflight, the STS-133 crew members delivered important space parts to the International Space Station along with the Express Logistics Carrier-4.
